FOTD – Natural tones

I’ve been eyeing this Physicians Formula Eyeshadow Shimmer Strips for a long time but it’s quite pricey and I couldn’t justify to myself paying that much for a drug store palette and it’s so tiny too! Well, the other day it happened to be on sale so I picked it up and here is my first look with it.

Cute packaging right? I will do a full review of this little palette because it is actually pretty good and you can create quite a few natural/nude looks and also smokey eye too.

One cool thing about it is that if you apply the eye shadows just straight as they are, meaning dabbing your eye shadow brush or your finger, whatever your preference, it is not extremely pigmented but you do get a nice look with it, but they are meant to be used also as an eyeliner for a more dramatic look by dipping the angled brush that it comes along with into water then into the product. Haven’t tried that yet, but when I do my full review I will!

On my lips I am wearing NYC Smooch Lipstick in 456 , which is a great peachy pink nude. I just picked this up and I never tried NYC lipsticks before but I must say I am impressed. It’s creamy and moisturizing and it has pretty decent staying power.

  1. OMG that palette is girly sexy perfection! It looks adorable and you are forgiven for spending a fortune on it, it’s too pretty not to have! 😀 You look really nice in this nude look, I love the lipstick shade you paired it with.
