Beer for your hair??? What…

I’m sure some of you have heard about this good old tip but perhaps some of you have not so don’t worry I am here to tell you allll about it. First of all, I hate beer. I think it’s gross, smells gross, tastes gross and the after taste is repulsing. However, it does wonders for your hair but I don’t mean drinking it ! lol.. I mean rinsing your hair with it.

This is what you need:

Any type of beer, flat and room temperature.

And , this is what you do:

1. You shampoo your hair as you normally would.2. You pour the beer all over, making sure it’s all saturated.
3. You massage it well into your hair, concentrating on your ends.
4. Let it sit for about 10 mins or so. However long you wish.
5. Rinse it out and condition your hair as usual.

Simple, right? So how does beer help your hair?

The malt found in beer is loaded with protein and nutrients. It contains phosphorous, magnesium and maltose which are great for your locks.

So what does it do exactly?

First and foremost, it gives your hair incredible shine. It restores dull hair completely.
It adds body, fullness, and it makes it oh so soft. It repairs dry and damaged hair.

What about the smell?

Some say that they can still smell it after rinsing it out and it smells bad. However, I did not have that issue. I can’t stand the smell of beer but if you deep condition after, the smell should be gone.

So if you don’t believe me, maybe you’ll believe Catherine Zeta-Jones. I think she is one of the most naturally beautiful women ever. She is so classy and just a real woman. But her hair is so rich and thick and healthy looking. She uses beer to condition it!
